How are the patterns on the glass made?
There are two kinds of patterns commonly used in cups for daily use: screen printing and roasting. The two processes are significantly different.
Screen printing uses a screen as a base, and a pattern is made by a photosensitive plate. The printing method of this pattern is composed of five elements: screen printing plate, squeegee, ink, printing table and substrate. You can refer to the ink printing method. The whole process of printing can be operated at low temperature. Generally, the wear resistance will be slightly worse, and there is a certain risk of falling off when used for a long time. Mainly used in plastic cups, plastic accessories and other products that are not resistant to high temperature.
The roasting process is to form patterns through the process of decals + high-temperature roasting. Generally, the decals must be artificially used. The process needs to be flat and completely attached to the cup. There can be no air bubbles in the middle. The requirements are relatively strict, otherwise the pattern will explode. The next step is to enter the high-temperature furnace to bake the flowers. As the temperature increases, the pattern melts on the surface of the cup to form a beautiful pattern. This kind of roasted flower is basically baked on a high temperature glass.
